Natural Cures and Prevention - More Than Home Remedies

The most common cause of fluid retention (holding water - swollen hands and feet) is actually lack of fluids in your diet.

One natural cure for water retention is to drink lots of water. Your body may be afraid to let water go because you are not letting any in. Also, cut down on your salt intake.

The second natural cure for fluid retention is taking natural apple cider vinegar, which helps your body to rid itself of poisons and gets your system back in balance. Take two teaspoons of vinegar, and one or two teaspoons of honey in a glass of water. Or, you can add them to hot water for a more soothing drink. Or, you can take natural apple cider vinegar tablets. Take two in the morning and two in the late afternoon, drinking a full glass of water with them each time.
